About IE Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center
We foster an entrepreneurial mindset to prepare the next generation of business leaders to be at the vanguard of business innovation. OUR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT We believe in the power of innovation and enterprise. We encourage our students to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions, whatever they may be. In 1973, our school was founded by a group of ambitious entrepreneurs. These individuals set the tone for what IE Business School would become—a dynamic institution committed to innovation, disruption, and above all, entrepreneurship. It’s part of our DNA and we’re proud of the entrepreneurial spirit that defines us. Our mission is to promote the development and consolidation of startups founded and led by IE students and alumni. We do so via many academic courses, accelerator programs (famously, Venture Lab), extracurricular activities and events. Our core programs is Venture Lab, Search Funds Lab (new) and the M&A competition. Our weekly Entrepreneurship event is Venture Network. Informal gatherings where startup teams can meet investors in a casual setting and focus on building meaningful relationships. These events are a great way to perfect your pitch and receive expert feedback within a supportive community of local startup entrepreneurs and . You never know – you may even be one of the startups that closes an investment agreement thanks to pitching in Area 31!
