About IEW Solutions

Founded by Greg Meisel in 2015, IEW’s primary goal is to produce high quality media play-out & automation solutions for the event production industry. What guides our design perspective is our founders over 40-year, real life experience operating each of the various systems required to make live shows possible. He is also keenly aware of the mental stresses’ operators experience while executing their tasks. Always wondering whether the tools they are using are going to work flawlessly or fail at any moment. During earlier years he constantly was disappointed with the lack of any affordable tools that could be used to automate execution of many of the more repetitive technical cues. So back in the late 80’s, once PCs became more powerful and affordable, he dove headfirst into learning programing languages and proceeded to create those solutions himself and for the last 30 years has never stopped developing automation and workflow solutions, all while still working on live events. Therefore, all programs we create start by ensuring its GUI is laid out in a way that is aligned with what show technicians need. An intuitive, easy to follow workflow, abundance of status feedback components, and confidence that it has undergone extensive testing, proving its reliability, long before it was ever brought to market. All those aspects are baked into everything we build. We also provide superior tech support, prioritizing the needs of customers who are currently on show site. God forbid, a bug is discovered… If so, we immediately drop everything and devote all resources into resolving the problem and getting a patch out that same day, sometimes even within hours!
