The Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) connects adults aged 50 and better with opportunities to serve in partnership with nonprofit organizations across the United States. Rooted in Ignatian spirituality, IVC members use their talents and life experiences to address the most pressing social challenges of our time—including poverty, homelessness, food insecurity, education gaps, and healthcare access. Each IVC corps member serves one or two days a week and participates in a robust program of spiritual reflection, community, and personal growth. This unique blend of service and spirituality supports both the individuals who serve and the people and communities they accompany.
