About ignitability
Ignitability (Ignite – ability) was all about heading out on my own to help Executives one-on-one to be the best leaders they can be, and work with their teams to create a positive environment where ownership & contribution is encouraged and celebrated. As a leadership and development coach my role is to facilitate that individual & team behavioural change, which elevates leadership impact and brings about wider cultural change that fuels better business results Through self-directed learning I support people to realise their potential – creatively, respectfully and honestly. One of the most under-estimated leadership challenges is that of leadings teams. Individual differences, team dynamics, roles and workflows, strategy and purpose all intersect and interact in the team space. By helping them become more transparent, curious, accountable & compassionate with each other teams will create better relationships & results. There are three elements of highly effective teams – clarity of purpose, high levels of trust and quality of conversations, through workshops and facilitation I help them become clear and get committed to the outcomes that will make the biggest difference for their team and the broader organisation. This may be done in one-off workshops or through regular team meetings (or a hybrid of the two). Boards need to examine & improve their effectiveness, and I help them achieve this through: Surveys, Skills matrix reviews and assessments to capture the ideal mix of skills, competencies and composition to achieve meet their responsibilities.
