About Iguana Cocoa and Coffee
Our Mission is to provide distribution for Fine Cocoa and Coffees from Colombia in the US market. In Colombia Small farmers are organizing into small associations that represent their local interests and products. We, at Iguana, and RA-Colombia have a network of farmers and associations in three main regions of Colombia who will be participating in this new approach of selling their product. These small organizations are preparing to trade through Redes Agroindustriales (RA- Colombia) who will manage their inventory and will offer them key product processing services. Farmers no longer want to just grow Cocoa and Coffee and sell it to the local market and intermediaries. They want to offer their products in the US Market and that is where Iguana Cocoa and Coffee, RA – Colombia, and RA (Redes Agroindustriales) come in. Together we form a network proving services that include, product sourcing, processing and packaging, Cacao fermentation and other key services needed to create the connections between buyers and the farmers and associations.
