About IHE - The Swedish Institute for Health Economics
The Swedish Institute for Health Economics, IHE, is a well-established research institute, specialized in health economic analysis. We provide high quality research and expert consulting within the health care field. IHE contributes to well-founded decision-making in health care by bridging the gap between the academia, industry, and health care providers. IHE was the first health economics research centre in Sweden, established in Lund in 1979, and has been a pioneer in Swedish health economics ever since. IHE has a strong academic profile with close ties to Lund University and Karolinska Institutet (KI) in Stockholm. Our staff consists of highly skilled multi-disciplinary specialists in health economics, medical science and statistics with experience of a wide range of medical, methodological and geographical areas.
