The Independent Health Professionals Association (IHPA) is a not-for-profit association. It formed when the Locum Doctors Union (LDU) expanded its membership to include nursing and allied health professional contractors under one unified banner, recognising that all are affected by similar issues and workplace pressures. IHPA works in concert with its partner the HPU in an alliance to achieve IR35 assessment in line with the law for their members and the public sector as a whole.
