Iitai’taamaopo’p will provide a nurturing environment so that all youth residents are able to live fulfilling lives with an opportunity to reconnect with their families, culture, and communities. Iitai’taamaopo’p will support youth and their families with programs aimed at strengthening family and cultural bonds. These programs will break the cycle of disconnection faced by many Indigenous families as result of the legacy of residential schools and will provide the opportunity for parents and grandparents to heal. Iitai’taamaopo’p will be a comforting place where youth will be empowered through the strength of family, community, and cultural bonds. This will have a lasting, multi-generational impact, providing the youth with skills and connections for their future families.
