About IJSPEERT Innovative Technologies

We are a Spin-off company from CERN, the European Research Institute in Geneva, where we made superconducting electro-magnets for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Now we use this experience, in particular that of the innovative construction of the laminated yokes of these magnets, to propose to industry novel techniques for the centring and clamping of all kind of shapes. The shapes to be centred and clamped can be external shapes like the centring of odd-shaped bars in a chuck or also the centring and clamping of spiral shaped turbine blades. but It can also concern internal shapes like the assembly of hollow profiles or the assembly of electric rotors on a conical shaft. Our methods solve in this way centring and clamping situations where otherwise it would be necessary to fabricate an expensive tooling, while our novel method yields a very precise centring of practically any shape at low cost. In addition it often adds unforeseen features like for instance the clamping of busbars in an electric rotor. We propose solutions to firms who wish to solve or improve mechanical centring and clamping needs.
