Iku Bio is building the data engine that biology needs for AI. Our circuit boards run tiny living experiments, watching how cells change when conditions shift. By steering those experiments and recording the results, we create a growing dataset that shows cause and effect in biology. We partner with teams across pharma, AI, and bioprocessing, to cut iteration time, de-risk scale-up, and unlock model-based control. Currently biological AI models are being trained on snapshots: single measurements at the end of experiments. It's like training a movie classifier on end credits frames. AI teams need time-series data from actively controlled experiments, but that ground-truth experimental data doesn't exist at scale. We're building the infrastructure to generate it through real experiments. Our platform runs live biological experiments while continuously adjusting temperature, oxygen, nutrients, and dosing. We capture optical, electrical, and chemical signals minute by minute from actual living systems, then connect those real-time experimental patterns to biological outcomes that appear hours or days later. The result: proprietary experimental datasets that show how biological systems actually respond to active perturbations over time—ground-truth data that AI models need to predict and control real biological processes.
