About Il Pane Association
Il pane association aims at supporting refugees in their journey for dignity in Switzerland providing job opportunities. Targeting N & F permit (refugees temporary admitted), we aim at develop skills in artisan bread baking for them to master one of the most sustainable practice in food industry in the last 5 years. Bread is a staple in several cultures and artisan baking with sourdough was globally the way of fermenting bread before industrial processed bread was developed. We are aiming at training high skilled artisan baker able to master the science of fermentation. As sourdough baking is booming, we are confident that our trainees will find the right place in the job market in Switzerland.
