About Illinois Concrete Pavement Association

The ILCPA is at the forefront in providing a variety of services to the concrete pavement industry. We offer a wide range of assistance including pavement type selection, design and construction, troubleshooting both during and after construction, concrete overlays, pavement rehabilitation and more. The ILCPA also offers in-person learning opportunities as well as web-based training concentrating on pavement design, construction best practices, materials and mix design and other relevant topics. The overall mission of the ILCPA is to promote the use of sustainable and cost-effective concrete pavements in the State of Illinois. By working closely with our federal, state, county, municipal and private partners and providing resources and technical expertise, we participate in the process from planning to reconstruction. The ILCPA actively participates in research and development of new and innovative approaches to concrete pavement design, construction and rehabilitation and maintains a close relationship with ACPA and the Concrete Pavement Technology Center. The ILCPA represents concrete paving contractors, both large and small, material manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, consultants and others involved in the concrete pavement industry. Our customers include the Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois Tollway, counties and municipalities across the state as well as private entities. We have extensive knowledge in highways, airfields, streets and roads, industrial applications featuring conventional concrete (PCC) and roller compacted concrete (RCC).
