About Illinois Growth Enterprises
Illinois Growth Enterprises is a not-for-profit corporation that has been providing comprehensive vocational services to persons with disabilities since 1970. Our success is due in large part to the ability to tailor programs to meet the diverse needs of each person who becomes part of our work force. A key component of the program involves using Productivity as a rehabilitation tool. Years of success have proven that work leads to greater independence, heightened self esteem and happier lives. Through vocational training at Illinois Growth Enterprises, our workers are able to build work habits, special skills and employment histories that enable them to be successful here as well as outside the work environment. Many of our workers also move on to careers with other employers in the community. Started with 10 employees in a small school house in Rockford, Illinois, the organization has grown to serve more than 200 associates in a modern 175,500 square foot facility which became our home in 2005. Our motivated employees provide a wide range of Top quality contract services such as packaging, assembly, and electronics recycling for more than 60 companies in the US.
