About Illuminations Center for Dyslexia
We help you THINK differently about dyslexia, IMAGINE a future of success, and CREATE a plan to make that happen. Whoopi Goldberg, Tom Cruise, Keira Knightley, Albert Einstein, Cher, Steven Spielberg, Walt Disney, Leonardo da Vinci, Danny Glover, Magic Johnson, and Jennifer Anniston are just a few of the famous people who have achieved much even though having dyslexia. If your child has difficulty reading, especially reading aloud, writes or reads slowly and with great effort, has problems spelling, mispronounces names or words, has problems retrieving words, or avoids activities that involve reading, they may be dyslexic. Dyslexia is a learning disorder and occurs in children with normal vision and intelligence. Illuminations Center for Dyslexia offers dyslexia therapy services as well as quality tutoring services both in-person and online. We craft individualized plans to fit student needs and family schedules and budgets. We are a non-profit and can offer aid to families that qualify. The Illuminations Center for Dyslexia was established in May of 2013. We started in the basement of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church in Zero, MS, and moved to our present location in Clearpoint on Highway 39 in 2015. We have served over 500 students since our inception.
