Homestyle Baked Goods Since 1999, we’ve been scratch baking gourmet treats in our Midwestern bakehouse using clean label ingredients. Simple ingredients, simple processing and attention to quality give our baked goods a home-made taste. Some of our recipes were handed down from my grandmothers, both of whom were amazing bakers! But don’t let that fool you. We produce at volume and continue to focus on “automating artisan” bakery treats. We make soft and chewy jumbo cookies, deeply fudgey brownies, moist, dense pound cake, streusel-topped coffee cake, flavorful sweet breads, buttery crisp shortbread, crunchy cookies and delightful scones. Our treats are available individually wrapped, which also helps with food safety and labor savings. All products are also available in foodservice format. We offer private label. We also customize to meet flavor, size and price needs, both with volume requirements. Environmental Responsibility We work to source ingredient manufacturers with robust sustainability programs. We’re working to ensure all our packaging is recyclable and we choose corrugated sourced by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. Certifications We are a nationally certified women’s business enterprise (WBENC). All our products are kosher certified cRc-D. We’re Third Party Audited for food safety by the NSF and operate under a HACCP program. Community We’re engaged in the community through our annual support of Northwestern University Dance Marathon, one of the nation’s largest student-run philanthropies. We partner with Grammies Cookie Convoy to support her shipments of chocolate chip cookies to military service people across the world. We work with Have Dreams, a local Evanston, Illinois autism research organization. We helped develop Have Dreams Academy, a workplace training program for young adults with autism, and we’re proud to employ the first graduate from that program.
