Medicine is more than a career for Dr Chetty. Her practice and patients are her calling and her life. “All I’ve ever wanted was to become a doctor and help heal people”, she says. Dr Chetty qualified in 1984 at Chennai, India and spent 20 years of her life in general practice across New Zealand and Australia before basing herself on the Gold Coast. She established the Imagene Vitality Centre in partnership with her son Hari after moving into modern medicine with extensive training from experts in America, Italy, Holland, Belgium and Australia. “I see modern medicine as the best answer to current day-to-day challenges and diseases, for it gives true meaning to ‘quality of life’. Our mission is to provide the ability to cut-off and disease from its roots before it ever surfaces as symptoms, through a holistic approach to life.” “Now I want to be a doctor who helps people to live longer, healthier and happier lives.” Imagene Vitality Centre has launched their health and wellness centre to the market, changing the way Australian Gold Coast locals view their health and empowering them to take control to be the best they can be.
