Imago’s technology overcomes the limitations of existing medical images by allowing clinicians to see into the images that see into the body … to see the clinically diagnostic patterns of cancer hidden in original images. Imago Systems, Inc. has developed a patented suite of digital image-based software for the post-processing of medical images from multiple imaging sources (X-ray, CT, MRI, PET, Ultrasound…), referred to as the Imago Image Characterization Engine (Imago ICE™). Imago’s mission is to provide lifesaving, image-based post-processing software that results in improved clinical outcomes for patients, assists clinicians in diagnosing and monitoring disease, extends available services for providers, delivers a new tool to help manage costs for payors, and provides a unique product offering for our strategic partners. Imago’s visualization and characterization of vascular structures and hemodynamic flow in angiograms, and ventricular flow in ultrasound images, improving clinical assessment and management of coronary artery disease (CAD) and non-ischemic heart disease. All vessel walls are more clearly visualized in the new images allowing accurate quantification of vessel diameters at any location of any vessel. The new images have been shown to reveal the presence of plaque, vessel narrowing, aneurisms, ulcerations, or ruptures. Imago ICE Reveal is the application of Imago’s post-processing technology for the visualization and characterization of breast tissue from standard mammographic images. The resulting images provide far more data from each original X-ray in a current case than is presently available from the original mammograms or breast tomosynthesis alone, even for women with dense breast tissue. It provides adjunctive support to clinicians in making their case assessments to see breast abnormalities sooner, smaller, and the full extent of cancer growth if present.
