IMGN Life is a medical nonprofit organization that supports the work of Choices Women’s Center. Many women in our community feel abortion is their only option when facing an unplanned pregnancy. We exist to offer the help and hope they need to see that choosing life is possible—for themselves and their baby. Choices provides free and confidential services to anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy through pregnancy testing, ultrasound confirmation and medical consultation, education concerning abortion and abortion alternatives, and education about lifestyles, marriage, and relationships, all during the office visit. We are connected with many area agencies and able to offer resource referrals and adoption referrals. Routinely, we hold post-abortion support healing groups assisting with abortion recovery and education in parenting and prenatal classes through our “Earn While You Learn Parenting Program” (for both mothers and fathers). After office hours, we are still available through our 24-hour hotline and 24-hour texting. Since October 1, 2012, Choices Women’s Center has served over 2,000 distinct clients. These clients are supported through the use of ultrasound and pregnancy testing, and many received post-abortion advocacy support or one-on-one parenting and prenatal mentoring classes. We serve clients from five surrounding counties: Stafford, Fredericksburg, King George, Spotsylvania and Caroline Counties. The staff is comprised of loving, concerned medical professionals who have received training in medical-grade pregnancy testing and ultrasound confirmation of pregnancy, including nurses and an OB/GYN doctor.
