Impact Embedded is a product development consultancy with expertise in creating embedded systems and a passion for executing multidisciplinary technology development projects. While specializing in circuit board design, microcontroller firmware, and GUI software development, we love working on electromechanical systems with integrated electronics, sensors, actuators, and mechanical packaging, whether our designs are being integrated into a system owned by our customer, or we take on responsibility for the complete device design. Impact Embedded has broad industry experience creating technology devices in fields including robotics, medical devices, consumer products, defense, and telecommunications. We provide services to a variety of organizations, from startup companies working to bring their concepts to market, to large companies expanding their engineering teams to meet temporary spikes in demand, to solo inventors seeking to embody their ideas in real proof of concept prototype devices. Located in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina, Impact Embedded is surrounded by a hotbed of innovation activity and talent. In addition to serving local clients, we have a strong background in remote collaboration with organizations throughout the United States, using telepresence technologies to communicate effectively while minimizing travel requirements.
