About Imperial College Algorithmic Trading Society
We are Imperial's primary society for all things trading and financial markets (traditional market making, algorithmic trading, quantitative trading - everything trading and more!) The Algorithmic Trading Society was founded in March 2018 with the aim of bringing students together to develop their understanding of the application algorithms in a financially driven context. We host weekly meetings along side our headline event algothon (algothon.org). We curate technical workshops, panel discussions with market-making and buy-side professionals, and hands-on trading simulations that demystify industry jargon while building practical skills. Whether you’re a novice to trading or a veteran Quant we welcome all to be part of the society.
