About In-Dialog Collective

In-Dialog Collective is composed of Tiffany Attali, Calin Segal, Codin Segal and Caterina Miralles Tagliabue. They are a young group of artists, architects and programmers that are united by their desire to re-invent the world around them. Their work explores the use of algorithm and machines in creating experiences that augment or create social interactions. In-Dialog projects consist of playful environments or installations where people can express their creativity and engage in social exchange. The installations are meant to be interpreted as devices that break through social anxiety and encourage physical interaction. In-Dialog’s framework is based on a trans-disciplinary methodology that is inspired by the fields of Behaviour Science, Cybernetics and design thinking. This approach allows them to express themselves in many formats and scales. It can also be noticed in the numerous tools and technique that they have developed in house for their installations. From AR software to ephemeral architectural structures, the pallet of artistic expression varies depending on the context they are working in. One of their critical subjects of research is the ability of data to create an empathic interaction between individuals. Founded since 2014, In-Dialog had the chance to present their work for exhibition and festival such as Nuit Blanche (Paris), Romanian Design Week (Bucarest), Enric Miralles Fundation (Barcelona), Galeire AAn+1 (Paris), Château Ephémère (in residency, Poissy), La Folie Numérique (Paris), Waha Festival (Romania), Gradina Eden (Bucarest), Veronicaschip (Amsterdam), Les Vivres de l’Art (Bordeaux), El Utero (Quito).
