In Step was set up by David Jenkinson, a former Finance Director and experienced Chartered Accountant. Steadfast, candid and committed to building finance teams that add value, David established In Step after a successful in-house career enabling companies to grow by creating and refining their business strategies and financial processes. The satisfaction of helping management teams tackle issues creatively, negotiate advantageous relationships with suppliers, landlords and financiers, and navigate challenging times, most recently COVID, inspired him to broaden his reach. Today, David and his team offer wide ranging support to a diverse portfolio of clients, in particular SMEs in growth stage across a number of industries. This includes Finance Director support, offering direction on commercial strategy together with all the services you would expect from an accounting firm. David is also passionate about training aspiring trainee accountants from non-traditional background and his team is made up of an engaging team of enthusiastic trainee accountants who are approachable and considered an integral part of our clients' teams.
