About In The Country

In The Country was first founded by then, 21 year old Holly Thomson. The magazine ran as a quarterly printed country lifestyle magazine for over four years, successfully attracting an international readership and loyal following on Instagram. Holly also attracted the attention of ex Dragon’s Den investor, Theo Paphitis, being recognised as one of his Small Business Sunday award winners. Now, In The Country is set to return to print after it ceased in 2020 following the economic effects of the COVID pandemic. However, Holly has introduced a new twist to the magazine and brand, carving a new, USP for readers and commercial partnerships alike. With the boom of country music here in the United Kingdom over the last 18 months in particular, and with it the rise in popularity of the authentic western lifestyle and its associated fashion, vehicles, home decor and more, Holly has decided to embrace this, incorporating it within the brand, knowing that many of her readers and audience will already be invested in that lifestyle and music genre themselves, as she is. This is a new era for the brand and magazine and we look forward to seeing where it can go. Print magazine relaunching this October with an Autumn/Winter Edition. Perfect bound as before, using high quality paper and print finishing.
