INAU (In Autism) is an inclusive Artificial Intelligence that speaks the language of people with mental special needs. INAU aims to create an AI communicator to help neurodivergent people interact with the neurotypical outside world through a smartphone app that analyzes physical/emotional conditions and transforms them into a comprehensible language. Think of INAU as a Rosetta Stone for people with Autism, helping them to decode and respond to the neuro-typical world around them. Nowadays, approximately 1 in 100 children worldwide are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, according to Autism Research. Currently, autistic people do not integrate into society. The INAU principal scientific partners became Yale Medical School, Houston University, Carnegie Mellon University, Tel Aviv University and Jerusalem University. An exceptional scientific board has supported our idea, including Dr. Elena Grigorenko of Houston and Yale University, Dr. Fred Volkmar of Yale University, one of the leading autism professors in the world, Dr. Rhea Paul of Sacred Heart University, Dr. Cuntai Guan of Nanyang Technological University, and Dr. Brian McWhinney of Carnegie Mellon University, one of the leading neurolinguists in the USA and Europe. Dr. Scott Fahlman, the Carnegie Mellon University professor who created the first emoticon, also has joined our board. David Yang, Founder at ABBYY and co-founder of Yva.ai, member of Band of Angels, and a Silicon Valley-based serial entrepreneur specializing in AI, joined our Advisory Board. The INAU team is passionate about the project we have been working on for over two years. Based on our research, we will create an AI communicator prototype and start building an impact business model.
