Limbert Fabian and Brandon Oldenburg form Directing Duo, InBetween Acclaimed filmmakers Limbert Fabian and Brandon Oldenburg announce the formation of their new directorial duo, InBetween. From 1995 to present, the two have served as founding members of Reel FX, Moonbot Studios, Flight School Studio and most recently, an immersive theatrical experience, The Department of Wonder. The duo are now represented by Anonymous Content. Fabian and Oldenburg met on the campus of Ringling College of Art and Design. They have since collaborated for the last 28 years on a variety of projects including feature, episodic, commercial, and interactive entertainment. Their work has been showcased in festivals around the world, winning numerous awards including an Academy Award (The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore), several Emmys (Dolby Silent, Radio Flyer Taking Flight) and the Cannes Lions Grand Prix (Chipotle Scarecrow). “It’s a thrilling time for us as a directing duo,” said Fabian. “We share a common vision for filmmaking, and feel it’s time to tell stories as independent creators.” “We're passionate about telling stories that are both visually stunning, emotionally resonant and push the bar for the medium of animation.” added Oldenburg. “We're looking forward to collaborating with other studios and artists to bring our visions to life.” InBetween is currently coming off the heels of Limbert’s most recent Emmy nomination for Meta’s (MLK: Now is the Time) and Brandon’s Lost Ollie, a limited hybrid series that premiered in 2022 on Netflix, produced by 21 Laps.
