Included Careers is a community interest company dedicated to breaking down barriers to employment for young people, especially those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We work with schools, colleges, employers, Combined authorities , local authorities and The Careers & Enterprise Company to co-create inclusive career education, Our services include staff training, resources, strategic consultancy, employer engagement, and the design of inclusive work placements and supported internships. Our mission is simple: Careers Without Barriers. By connecting education with the world of work, we help young people explore their strengths, build confidence, and take positive steps towards fulfilling futures. At Included Careers, we’re committed to dismantling barriers and creating career pathways where everyone belongs. Designed with inclusion at the core, our services focus on empowering young people—particularly those with SEND—by providing the support and connections they need to succeed. Inclusive Resources We offer easy-to-use materials and tools that help educators, institutions, and employers build equitable career support systems. Staff Training Through tailored training sessions, we equip professionals with the skills and empathy necessary to foster inclusive environments where diverse learners can thrive. Strategic Consultancy We guide organisations in aligning with statutory guidance and achieving excellence in career provision, including compliance with benchmarks like the Gatsby framework. Employer Engagement & Placements We bridge the gap between education and work by facilitating collaborations between schools, colleges, supported employment providers, and inclusive employers. Our services include designing inclusive placements, internships, and job trials. Pathway Co-Design Working closely with educational and employment partners, we co-create bespoke career experiences that are accessible, meaningful, and outcome-focused.
