About Inclusions
Inclusions envisions to empower the blind community in India. Despite India being home to the largest blind population in the world, the community faces difficulties and discrimination in fundamental activities of daily life like navigation, monetary transactions, and seeking employment. We first focused on a lateral view to identifying compelling needs and then delved deeper. Immersing into the community, we developed concept mockups to experiment with customer needs and are now in the process of developing a device that helps to identify and organize paper money and coins of different denominations using the core principles of human-centered design.
