About Inclusive Impact 「融·聚·歷」
Inclusive Impact helps organisations innovate with social values. We are leveraging Design Thinking, Growth Mindset and Lean Startup to empower staff to think innovative, with empathy and courage to make progress. We partner with companies and organisations to help nurture and scale social innovations. We focus on three areas: leveraging social innovation concept to co-create collaboration, using Lean Startup methodology to grow innovation teams and educating Design Thinking to understand unknown problems. We nurture people a cross-sector collaboration mindset, equip them with entrepreneurial skill sets and a sense of purpose. We believe that social innovation can be applied to any companies or organisations to tackle business and social challenges. Our Story Inclusive Impact begins from a social problem: there are many para-athletes become jobless after they left the national team. Tom, a founder of Inclusive Impact, was working in an international bank in both the UK and Shanghai regions over ten years. Meanwhile, he was also a Great Britain Paralympic Badminton Coach. Over the years, he has witnessed a lot of retired para-athlete’s life dropping from the top to the bottom. For him, this is a heartbroken phenomenon. Tom believes that retired para-athletes have extraordinary well strategic thinking, sportsmanship, encouragement and overview ability, which can influence a team. However, their capabilities have not discovered as well as performed in society. After he returned to Hong Kong, he established a challenging wheelchair workshop which is hosted by wheelchair-based elite athletes, allowing participants to receive "latest" and "most popular" leadership management topics in the market within "shortest period" manner, including growth thinking, design thinking, change management, The team builds, enhances resilience, and so on, and finally achieves a change in thinking, skills, and work patterns.
