About INCYTE

Incyte AS is a wholly-owned Norwegian company founded by Arnfinn Roland and Fred Habberstad. In 2004, they founded Watchcom Security Group, and early on they launched hacking courses and technical consulting, later also penetration testing and the annual security conference Paranoia. In 2018, they sold Watchcom to Saab-owned Combitech AB. We are working on new ways of learning based on cutting edge research on and incredible technological advances, some of which surely will take over work previously done by people. However, we believe that machine learning and artificial intelligence must be used to enable people and not to disable people. To create a better understanding of our connected world, make people aware and able to make sound decisions when it comes to security will, in the end, be for the benefit of all. I 2004 startet de opp Watchcom Security Group, og satset tidlig på hackerkurs og teknisk rådgivning, senere også penetrasjonstesting og den årlige sikkerhetskonferansen Paranoia. I 2018 solgte de Watchcom til Saab-eide Combitech AB. Vi jobber med nye måter å lære på som baserer seg på ny forskning og utrolige teknologiske fremskritt, hvorav noen ganske sikkert vil ta over arbeid som tidligere ble gjort av mennesker. Vi tror at maskin-læring og kunstig intelligens må brukes til å gjøre mennesker bedre, og ikke til å gjøre oss overflødig. Å skape større forståelse for vår tilkoblede verden, å gjøre mennesker bevisst og i stand til å ta sunne beslutninger når det kommer til sikkerhet, vil når det kommer til stykket, være til alles fordel.
