ILG specialises in supporting direct payment employers, personal health budget employers, personal assistants working in the care sector and self employed micro providers. Independent Living Group (ILG) currently works with local authorities and ICB's across the UK supporting with training and information on changes to employment law, as well as health and social care policy's and procedures. ILG has 4 different services ILG Community - A national employer support forum which is entirely led by DP employers. The community has been set up to share best practice and support employers across the UK. ILG Academy - This is a training platform offering specialist training for PA's and employers as well as funders on all aspects of employment law, The Care Act, how to be a good employer. This includes e-learning for the care certificate as well as a number of other courses. ILG Support - This service provides employment support to direct payment and personal health budget employers and is the first and only pro active employment support line. It aims to empower employers with the knowledge and confidence to manage their employees. ILG-PA - This service supports personal assistants both employed and self employed with a range of documentation, advice, guidance, as well as a range of discounts and offers to save on shopping, eating out and travel.
