About Independent Sector Emergency Medical
Launching soon ISEM Ltd. was formed by a team of established consultants in Emergency Medicine to provide emergency care for in-patients undergoing surgery at the Nuffield Private Hospital at Barts. The NHS is our national pride but struggles to provide timely emergency care. Long waits for ambulances followed by long delays in crowded Emergency Departments have become commonplace. The private medical sector in the UK provides world class medical care but cannot usually offer a 24/7 response to emergencies. Patients who routinely receive care in the private sector who suffer an emergency, will usually start their care process in the NHS. After initial management, many will attempt to transfer to the independent sector for ongoing care. This process can take time and can be frustrating. ISEM is now able to offer a private emergency service for insured and self-funding private patients who can now enjoy immediate access to the private sector from the moment they fall ill or are injured. We redefine the approach to emergency and urgent care, stepping beyond the boundaries of traditional healthcare to offer personalised, efficient and patient-centred urgent and emergency medical services. Our consultants are highly-experienced clinicians from London teaching hospitals who are united by a shared vision: to deliver the highest quality healthcare solutions in medical emergencies. We understand the limitations and time pressures often associated with the NHS and we strive to offer an alternative that ensures immediate access to premium care. Whether through virtual consultations, ambulance transport to our specialised hub at the Nuffield Hospital, or direct home visits, we provide a range of private, non-NHS services tailored to the urgency and complexity of each situation. Our mission is driven by a commitment to individualised emergency healthcare, where every patient receives the focused attention and bespoke care they deserve.
