Integrity and Trustworthiness. Just two descriptors of ITA Members. The purpose of the Independent Trust Alliance is to share information, teach and set standards for the administration of family trusts which well serve client families. The members of the ITA are trustees of family trusts who strive to perform their duties with a high degree of professionalism and to inspire others to do the same. The ITA is open to every type of non-corporate, independent trustee: whether you are a family member or friend serving as trustee as a favor or devote all your work hours to this important profession. ITA members adhere to a Code of Ethics and Statement of Best Practices. The current versions of both are available upon request. ITA membership benefits include the opportunity to collaborate with an international network of fellow practitioners as well as pursuing the goal of the highest professionalism.
