We are India’s first mortgage guarantee company (incorporated in 2012) and are regulated by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines for mortgage guarantee companies. Born out of a vision for facilitating early home ownership and making housing affordable, our primary objective is risk mitigation for lending institutions by providing a backstop against credit defaults. Having partnered with over 20 lending institutions (including banks, housing finance companies, and non-banking finance companies), we have helped over 1,20,000 customers realise their dream of owning a home. We have issued guarantees of over ₹30,000 Crore. About Mortgage Guarantee The mortgage guarantee program offers a first-loss credit default guarantee to protect against losses arising due to non-repayment by borrowers toward home loans. The program also facilitates lender institutions to expand their product offerings by using risk mitigation as an effective tool.
