Jazz is an American art form because it celebrates freedom, equality, and individual expression within a collective effort. Every year, the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation presents the Indy Jazz Fest, a beloved tradition for over 25 years, gathering a vibrant community of musicians, fans, and supporters. In 2024, the Fest will take place on September 16-28. The Indy Jazz Fest is more than just a music festival. It's a celebration of our community and culture, a testament to the power of jazz to unite and inspire. This year, we're bringing the best in local, regional, and national jazz performances to Indianapolis, showcasing the diversity and richness of this art form in a variety of venues across the city.
