About Índice Arts Gràfiques
Índice was born originally as an advertising agency, back in 1959. The company made a name for itself after creating, designing and promoting different campaigns for textile and fashion companies. We thrived, succeeded and became pioneers in our trade, and in 1965 launched no less than five technical magazines fully devoted to fashion. 1965 was a landmark year for Índice, for it was then that we came up with another decisive investment for our future: to purchase our first two offset machines in order to diversify our activity. Between 1965 and 1973, Índice alternated its activity as an agency with the gradual increase of its graphic arts projects. In 1970, the company opened its bookbinding department, and over the following years, our constant technological advances would result in another area of specialization for us: the book manufacturing business. During those years the company acquired new and larger premises that allowed us to centralize all of our production processes and our warehouse together. And to this day we keep on following the same philosophy that kept us thriving in the first place: to keep updating our technology. This allows us to meet the highest quality standards and deliver the best for our clients. Our future-oriented philosophy hasn’t changed a bit, as the opening of our recent premises proves. It’s been almost 70 years of foreword thinking.
