About Indicia Consulting

Indicia Consulting is a mission-driven social enterprise which defines its primary purpose as an increase in sustainability and subsequent improvement in the natural environment through engaging behavior through proven social science insights and methods. We work in all areas concerning human behavior and its environmental impact, including energy, water, food, transportation, and pollution control. Our secondary purpose is increasing the general understanding and value of qualitative theory and methods, particularly from anthropology. We create, support, and manage a variety of activities in pursuit of these goals, including producing events and convenings, conducting training and developing curricula, engaging in research projects, as well as technical advising and consulting. We use earned revenue strategies to pursue a triple bottom line, with a mixed revenue stream that also includes charitable contributions and public sector subsidies. We pursue the three pillars of sustainability: people, planet, profit, where any profit is intended for the benefit of our primary stakeholders, including our employees, our customers, and our fellow community members.
