About Indie Games Poland Foundation

Indie Games Poland is a non-profit foundation, which was created in order to support Polish video game developers. The main role of Indie Games Poland Foundation is to help video game developers in the process of gaining industry expertise, brand creation, promotion and sales. The Foundation is also responsible for creation of social awareness about the role of video games as a modern media and a significant part of modern culture. The Foundation organizes Polish stands at all main industry fairs around the world, like PAX West in Seattle, Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Gamescom in Cologne, Nordic Game Conference in Malmo, Quo Vadis Conference in Berlin, Tokyo Game Show, etc., helping Polish game developers promote their projects globally and meet industry media, publishers, investors, and partners. In order to help game developers gain high-quality industry knowledge, Indie Games Poland Foundation among others: • Supports all main Polish conferences for game developers like Poznan Game Arena and Game Industry Conference, Pixel Heaven, Digital Dragons etc., and organizes conferences dedicated to special topics (Indie Funding, History in Video Games, Grants in Game Development etc.), • Organizes and supports Game James (ex. Game Jam in Theater), • Organizes exhibitions in different countries presenting history of Polish game development, • Organizes Indie Booster, acceleration program for game developers.
