INDULGE Pure Originals™ is the result of a two-year search by company founder, Kimberly Acworth, who has over 30 years experience in the beauty industry as a multiple salon owner and consultant. “My dry, itchy skin used to literally drive me crazy. Nothing was out there that solved my own problem. So I called a formulator I know to help me create something totally new using pure, simple, and safe ingredients that naturally hydrate, nourish and protect the skin. . .like shea butter, cocoa butter and almond oil. It was a long process that slowly evolved into a complete, reasonably-priced line I am happy with because I know it works and produces the results I want with no harsh chemicals.” Acworth started with a Cocoa Butter Body Butter “Bar” – unique in that it is held in your hand and gently massaged on warm, moist skin after a shower or bath. In seconds, you can feel the bar melt, leaving a glistening layer of ingredients that quickly absorb into the skin. This led to the development of a Cocoa Butter Cream – rich and luxurious for extremely dry, flaky skin – as well as lighter formulations of the same ingredients for Moisturizing Creams and Body Lotions. She also took a different approach in creating “fragrance families” that could be used alone or in combination so you can create your own unique scent.
