About Industrial & Crane Services
Since the invention of the modern shipping container in the 1950s, the global port and vessel infrastructures have raced to keep up with emergent transportation demands. As vessels increased in size and capacity, channels were dredged and canals were widened; the adaptability of container transportation equipment became paramount to the success of ports. In order to address this ever-increasing maritime industry challenge, Todd Williams founded Industrial & Crane Services, Inc. (ICS) in 2003. A veteran-owned small business based out of Pascagoula, Mississippi, ICS originally focused on the retrofit, relocation, repair, erection and dismantling of Container Handling Cranes such as Ship-To-Shore (STS) cranes and Rubber-Tire-Gantry (RTG) cranes. Since then the company’s expertise and capabilities have expanded into overhead bridge cranes, Goliath shipyard cranes, bulk-handling cranes and container handling cranes with a heavy lift and transport division. From engineering to fabrication to installation, ICS has become a turnkey company operating out of multiple office locations across the country. ICS has a reputation built on safety, commitment to quality service and assurance of customer loyalty and satisfaction.
