ISC Ltd is a small but highly regarded control engineering consultancy based in Glasgow, Scotland. We work across many industrial sectors including oil and gas, power generation - renewable, fossil and nuclear, automotive, marine, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, paper and glass. Pretty much anything that has a feedback control loop in. We have both a deep technical understanding of control and real-world engineering experience, which means we often face challenging or unusual control applications. We specialise in: 1. Advanced Control R&D - using simulations to investigate new control methods, such as Nonlinear MPC. 2. Control Improvements / Troubleshooting - we really know how to make control work better 3. Embedded Control Software Design - from concept, through implementation to commissioning and in-service support, typically using LabVIEW Real-Time. Two of our projects won awards from National Instruments. 4. Dynamic Modelling and Simulations - highly validated nonlinear dynamic models are core to what we do whether for simulations, control design and optimisation. 5.
