We are a dedicated team of scientist and engineers with world class expertise in materials science and engineering, embedded control system hardware and software, analytical instrument development, sensors and actuators, and precision engineering design. Industron Nanotechnology, formerly known as Hysitron Nanotechnology India was founded in 2011 by Dr. S.A. Syed Asif, Director of R&D, Hysitron Inc. and Thomas J. Wyrobek, CEO of Hysitron Inc. as the R&D center for Hysitron Inc. in India. Since its inception, Industron has been actively involved in Research and Development activities in India through collaborations with premier institutions such as IISc and IIT’s. Along the way, many cutting edge technology and products have been developed by Industron team, such as BioIndenter which received prestigious R&D 100 award in USA (2014) and NanoGuru, a desktop nanomechanical test instrument for testing nanoscale mechanical properties of materials. Our R&D division has been recognized by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of India. Our distinct core competencies are, 1. Smart product design with integrated electronics and precision mechanical design at the leading edge for transducers, sensors and actuators, 2. Promote knowledge in the field of mechanical properties at the nanoscale, 3. Identifying markets that utilize or need mechanical properties testing at nanoscale and microscale, 4. Pioneers of In-situ and operando materials characterization, 5. Willing to accept calculated risks. Along with R&D activities we also bring products to you, from world leader in nanotechnology, Bruker Nano Surface. We are the Indian distributors for Bruker Hysitron Nanoindenter products, AFM, BioAFM and Tribometer.
