About Indywood Promotions
We provide Non-Conformist, Freestyle photography to the world of music and beyond.We also shoot landscapes and buildings in and around East Anglia and London. We started in 2007 taking photos on top American band Wheatus’ UK tour capturing for two wwek. While away we also got to work with other top charting acts such as Razorlight and The Hoosiers as well as Stephanie McIntosh and Ben Nicholas; stars of TV soap Neighbours. Since thenn we have worked with bands such as Ash, The Wombats, Scouting For Girls, Supergrass, KT Tunstall, The Automatic and Status Quo, Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong, Little Man Tate, Brigade, Lowgold and new emerging artist Emmy The Great We have also worked with other American acts such as Bowling For Soup, Silverstein, CKY, MC Lars, The Leftovers and Army of Freshmen as well as a lot of work with local acts such as Rosalita, winners of the 2007 ‘Road to V’ competition, and Cheeky Cheeky & The Nosebleeds (The Cheek), the headliners of the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury in 2008. Event photography is also something we can provide and have covered both the Ipswich Music Day and the Indian Summer Mela during 2008 and 2009 for the Ip-Art Team at the Ipswich Borough Council as well as team photography during events at AXA Insurance. 2009 also saw us link up with LoveMusic24, a website to promote local music in East Anglia run by the local newspaper group Archant and we were privileged to provide photography for their flagship Battle of the Bands event at The Ipswich Regent won by Fagan. We also provided work at Festinho 2008 and 2009 music festivals and the BBC Introducing Show with Vanilla Kick, James Severy at the Circus Circus, The Cheek and Rosalita. In addition, we had numerous photos used online, as well as published in local magazines and the front page of the Evening Star; the local newspaper of the year!
