About Infants in BLOOM

Infants in BLOOM is a pediatric care model providing specialized care and preventative services to vulnerable infants. BLOOM is a women-led, social purpose organization pioneering an in-place pediatric care model. Our model uses novel, evidence-based programming to address the known risks of maternal substance use by delivering specialized, intensive interventions up to two years of age through uniquely trained medical professionals. In the past two decades, crises, epidemics, and other adversities have deeply impacted families, leading to the birth of infants who are vulnerable and in need of specialized, intensive treatment to mitigate harm. BLOOM wishes to bring attention and care to the short- and long-term physical, mental, and socio-emotional impacts and needs of these vulnerable infants, their families, and society. Our Mission: To build a sustainable care model that positively impacts the physical and mental health of vulnerable infants, enabling all to BLOOM.
