About Informatics Matters

Informatics Matters Ltd. is a software company based near Oxford, United Kingdom. We specialise in life science informatics, particularly based around chemistry and drug discovery. Our customers are typically pharmaceutical and biotech companies, compound suppliers, contract research organisation and scientific publishers. We have a long history of building software that addresses the needs of these customers, and can do so using commercial and open source toolkits. A key expertise is automated continuous integration and continuous delivery of software services and orchestration to containerised environments such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift. Currently we are creating a new software product, the Squonk Computational Notebook which provides an integrated approach to executing computational workflows, which unlike current tools addresses the whole workflow process, with a strong emphasis on reproducibility & traceability, and the ability to collaborate with other scientists inside and outside your organisation.
