About Informed Engineering
Informed Engineering is a BIM and Information Management Consultancy that specialises in the production, management and delivery of Information for major infrastructure projects. We implement processes and methods based on years of experience to ensure that the Contractors building the project and the end users are getting good value for money and efficient delivery. We negotiate on behalf of our clients to amend Employers Information Requirements to make sure what is being delivered is information with integrity. Receiving data provides a need for data to be maintained and we make it clear that only the most essential information should be collected and maintained. We are expertts in delivering bespoke Common Data Environment solutions, particularly using Bentley ProjectWise We create and implement customised solutions when using Bentley products to create efficiencies for our clients and their teams, which force standardisation by default. We have decades of experience using Bentley CAD software and Synchro scheduling tools so can provide services from CAD support, to fully outsourced Information Management to a project of any size. We have supported clients in obtaining BSI kitemarks and preparing for audits in line with PAS 1192 and ISO 19650 with the results being zero comment and commendation. COBie and IFC are becoming mainstream in UK infrastructure. Informed Engineering can produce IFC and COBie for any project and has successfully delivered for a major UK linear infrastructure project. We own and maintain several software packages and our team undertake regular training to ensure we are current and able to deliver to the most current requirements in an ever changing industry.
