About Initium Aerospace

We are a UK based startup developing Genesis 1 - an HTP & RP-1 fed rocket engine capable of producing up to 25kN of thrust at sea level, and decreasing launch cost by up to 75%. Genesis replaces the traditional gas generator with a catalyzer: powering the turbopump through the decomposition of HTP, rather than internal combustion. This relatively simple change significantly decreases internal heat stresses, eliminates internal soot buildup, removes the need for an ignition system, and allows us to use storable, environmentally friendly and energy dense propellants while lowering costs, remaining quickly deployable and fully reusable.
