The Inland Northwest Wildlife Council (INWC) is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the conservation and enhancement of fish, wildlife, and their habitats. Based in Spokane, Washington, we’ve been serving the community since 1951 through hands-on projects, outdoor education, and ethical stewardship of our natural resources. We’re the proud organizers of the Big Horn Outdoor Adventure Show—one of the largest and longest-running events of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, held every year the 3rd weekend of March. This annual, all-volunteer event brings together outdoor enthusiasts, conservationists, families, and vendors from across the globe to celebrate everything wild and adventurous. Throughout the year, our members stay active with impactful programs like: 🔥Kids Fishing Day, where we introduce over 1,000 young anglers to the joys of the outdoors 🔥Pheasant Chick Program, which helps youth raise and release birds into the wild to support upland game populations 🔥Disabled Access Team, working to improve outdoor access for individuals with mobility challenges Whether we’re restoring habitat, organizing youth events, advocating for sustainable practices, or simply getting our hands dirty for a good cause—our mission is clear: to protect what we love and pass it on better than we found it.
