About Inland Valleys Association of Realtors®
The Inland Valleys Association of REALTORS®, Inc. (IVAR) is a non-profit mutual benefit corporation. In its current composition, it is the result of a number of mergers between Associations in the region. The geographical area of the Association is broad, and the population served is ethnically and financially diverse. Included within the boundaries of the Association are two counties and nineteen cities. The Association's membership, including MLS participants, exceeds 6,000 members doing business in over 1,000 offices. The Association has 119 affiliates. It is governed by an elected Board of Directors and elected officers with over 20 years of experience. The Association's governing documents have been approved by the National Association of REALTORS®, and the Association is fully compliant with both national and state requirements. The Bylaws have recently been updated to include the most recent thinking of leadership at the national, state and local level. The Association's leadership has produced a former C.A.R. President who has now been nominated to be President of the National Association of REALTORS®.
