The property features four buildings comprised of 23 guest rooms and suites, one of the best restaurants in the area, and the region's premier outdoor event venue. Surrounded by Taughannock Falls State Park, which hosts the tallest waterfall on the east coast, a 215-foot vertical drop, easily accessible by our hotel guests. The park also includes a variety of activities such as hiking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, and more. The Inn at Taughannock is a famous landmark, servicing the community since 1935. Originally built in 1873, the entire first floor of the Victorian mansion is dedicated to the Inn’s fine dining restaurant, which features a traditional American cuisine with a Mediterranean influence. The Inn at Taughannock has just completed construction on a 10,000 square foot event garden called “Enchantment," an elegant setting with majestic stone fireplace, numerous fire pits and a Gatsby style translucent sailcloth tent, capable of handling any size event.
