She has a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and obtained her dietetic license and master’s degree in public health from Tulane University. She has been the keynote speaker at different tertiary and nutritional conferences including NYU, Columbia, American Dietetic Association, American Homeless Association, New Jersey Nutrition Conference addressing the importance of nutrition. On August 2005, Sahar published and presented her abstract at the American Dietetic Association Journal and conference. She constantly tries to advocate better healing for children and adults. She recently published her book Lilli’s Strawberry House to in courage kids to eat healthier.
